W 5/13/20: Reminder of Cal Poly’s Non-Cooperation Agreement with ICE

May 22, 2020

An important message from ASI President Mark Borges and Cal Poly Chief of Police George Hughes with hopes to remind everyone that Cal Poly and the CSU system are committed to ensuring academic opportunities are available to all the state's students, regardless of citizenship status. This message re-affirms that campus police officers will not contact, detain, question, or arrest an individual solely on the basis of suspected undocumented immigration status or to discover the immigration status of an individual, except as required by law.
